The season open race was a success as johnny drudge
would bring the # 3 R.C Harrison / Graffiti Grill Chevy Monte Carlo home in 7th place without a scratch on it .
After a disappointing qualifying run johnny drudge
started near the back of the field .

and staying out of trouble the entire night .
Johnny had a remarkable save on the front stretch as he swerved
to the bottom of the track to avoid a wreck coming off of turn 4.
